GARDAÍ have tragically recovered the body of a Kilkenny man who has been missing since Friday.
Stephen Dooley, 24, went missing from his home in Bishop Birch Place to the east of the city on the evening of January 5.
He had last been seen leaving the property at around 11.30pm.
He was wearing a slim fit green tracksuit pants and a padded white/grey jacket at the time.
Gardaí are not treating Stephen's death as suspicious.
They said they wished to thank the public for assisting them during their missing person's appeal for Mr Dooley.
